No politics intended here, just facts.

At probably $45,000 a plate, when you consider the total cost to fly the President anywhere.

Fly to Africa or the Middle east, Multi-millions.

Not just one plane, but a fleet of them to carry everything from jet fuel to automobiles to support staff to.... on and on and Legacy Presidents tend to travel more.

I honestly can't care less how much we spend to send the President around to do his thing. Things like force-feeding the Army tanks they no longer need/want, on the other hand? Different story. The press and partisans feed us the wrong things to be outraged over.

You are certainly right there. I agree that there is way too much waste in all aspects of government.

"Vested interests" in all forms of politics/government/industry/business are the true drivers.
